Mrs. Pineda was born in Guam, but raised in Long Beach, California since the age of two. She is a proud Marine Corps wife, mother of four (one boy, three girls), and grandmother of two (two boys). Mrs. Pineda has over 10 years of experience working with children ranging from infants to pre-teens.
In California, Mrs. Pineda worked for a non-profit organization that taught developmentally delayed adults, teens and children daily living skills and integrated them with the community. While stationed in Jacksonville, North Carolina, Mrs. Pineda worked as a Youth and Teen Program Assistant with grade levels K-12. Mrs. Pineda ran a non-profit club where girls ages 8 and up discuss life situations, choices and volunteered heavily with local Marine Corps community (SMART girls of BGCA).
After moving to Las Vegas, Nevada, she continued her non-profit club working with the local youth community. Mrs. Pineda has also worked at a privately owned school here in Las Vegas as a teacher’s assistant. She assisted children in mastering assignments and reinforced learned concepts presented by the teachers. She joined our Pinecrest family at the end of spring of 2015 at the St. Rose campus where her daughter Brieze is attending.
On the weekends, Mrs. Pineda occasionally loves an early morning hike with her children or just venturing out to keep the sense of exploration alive. They enjoy ending their day with a new restaurant for new flavors to enjoy. She is looking forward to another year here at Pinecrest St. Rose. Go Panthers!!
